Burger buns

(~ 4 buns)

  • 210 g flour
  • 90 ml warm water
  • 30 ml oat milk
  • 1 egg
  • 20 g melted butter
  • 10 g sugar
  • 5 g salt
  • 10 g yeast
  1. Combine warm water, milk, sugar, and yeast. Let rest 5 minutes until activated.
  2. Add half the egg (beaten), melted butter, flour, and salt.
  3. Mix and knead for 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover and let rise in a bowl for ~1h, until doubled in size.
  5. Divide in 4, and shape each portion into a ball.
  6. Place on a baking sheet with a parchement paper, and flatten each ball lightly.
  7. Cover loosely, and let rise for ~15 minutes.
  8. Brush each ball with the remaining half egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 190°C.
