Pain d’épices

  • 160g Flour
  • 60g Brown sugar
  • 2tsp 4-spices mix (black pepper, ginger, clove, nutmeg)
  • 1tsp Cinammon
  • 10g Baking soda
  • 160g Miel
  • 60g Beurre
  • 70g Milk
  • 2 star anise
  • 2 tsp Orange marmelade
  1. Gently heat up the milk, honey, and star anise, and let infuse for ~5 minutes.
  2. Remove the star anise.
  3. Add butter and orange marmelade until the butter is melted.
  4. Mix flour, sugar, 4-spices, cinammon, and baking soda.
  5. Combine liquid and solid mix.
  6. Bake 1h at 155°C.
