Pasta Arrabbiata

- 400 g pasta
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 red chili (or chili flakes)
- 200 g canned tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- olive oil
- salt, pepper
- handful of basil leaves
- parsley and grated parmesan to garnishg
- Fry chopped garlic and chili in olive oil.
- Add canned tomatoes, and crush them roughly.
- Add tomato paste, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, and add the cooked pasta and the basil leaves.
- Add pasta water, salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve with parmesan and chopped parsley.
